Music for The Listeners is the sound score for the choreography of The Listeners by Alma Söderberg for Swedish dance company Cullberg. The two sound pieces were composed in 2019 and performed for the first time at Norrlandsoperan in Umeå, Sweden. Instrumentation consists mostly of Vermona Perfourmer and a horn sample. Weaving as a polyrhythmic practice and listening through layers are some of the thought processes that gave shape to the final composition presented here.
